Job Description

We are looking for a Business Operations Executive with knowledge in the transportation industry and relevant experience in the travel and tourism sector to manage our transport content for bus and ferry in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and Philippines.

The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and requires fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Establish Business Operations with bus and ferry providers

  1. Communicate with bus and ferry providers to receive all the transport data necessary to establish business operations and ticket sale. Maintain frequent communication to update the transport data and add new content to our inventory.
  2. Add, remove and update transport content through the company’s internal content manager, including stations and ports, transport carriers, operational routes, fares, fare rules, and change and cancellation policies.
  3. Coordinate with the Information Technology Department to activate content in our system and ensure the correct acquisition of data through the information systems made available by the transport provider.
  4. Following the activation of a new transport provider in our system, carry out tests and monitor the early user activity.
  5. Evaluate the success of the integration and, in case of error, work with the Information Technology Department on the resolution.
  6. Ensure that the content available in our system is accurate and complies with regulations, commercial contracts, data specification and user experience.

Coordinate with Business Development Department

  1. Follow up the signing of partnership contracts with bus and ferry companies.
  2. Research about the transport provider, the route coverage and prepare to establish business operations.

Coordinate with Operations Department

  1. Coordinate with the Operations Department to ensure the correct booking and issuing of bus and ferry tickets.
  2. In case that the ticket was incorrectly issued due to discrepancies in the price, the schedule, the route or the location of the point of departure, communicate with the transport company to resolve the situation and correct the information in our system.
  3. Implement policies to optimize the input of data and the content management.
  4. Assist the Operations Manager in the review and documenting of internal procedures for Ticketing and Customer Service.
  5. Analyze the activity in the operations and propose improvements to reduce the work load and maximize the efficiency.

Requirements

  1. Knowledge about bus and ferry transportation in Southeast Asia
  2. Relevant experience in travel and tourism sector

  4. Ability to use computers and cloud-based software
  5. Good level of English, communicate fluently in verbal and in written
